Changing World Residency
In this 20 week residency, the students of Johnson Elementary on Chicago's Southwest side put together an anti violence campaign. Throughout the class the students used photography, video and graphic design to produce all the materials needed to promote the messaging in their anti violence campaign.
The following photographs are a shared memory of how the students felt our playgrounds once looked. With these images the students hoped to share a vision for the future in which they return to the playgrounds.
